Play Riot Escape to experience a riot from the other side of the law. You have three minutes to go from rioter to cop, looting shops and avoiding police while keeping your head down. Designed by game designer Jane McGonigal and artist Katy McCarthy, Riot Escape aims to rip players away from their screens through an immersive social simulation that helps people understand what it’s really like to be in a riot. Created for the Museum of Moving Images in San Francisco, will later be exhibited at other venues around the world as part of an interactive exhibit on global unrest.
